Content:

Aufgrund des fortgeschrittenen Klimawandels ist eine Decarbonisierung bzw. Defossilisierung des Transportsektors weltweit zwingend erforderlich.

Mittels Erneuerbarer Kraftstoffe (e-fuels) können Verbrennungsmotoren und Brennstoffzellen CO2 Neutral betrieben werden.

Lebenszyklusanalysen unterschiedlicher Antriebsstrang Varianten zeigen, dass mit e-fuels betriebene Verbrennungsmotoren in der "cradle to grave" Bilanz auf gleichem Niveau sind.

Durch Sektorkopplung bzw. Speicherung überschüssiger Erneuerbarer Energie tragen e-fuels zur Energiewende bei.
